ALMOST DEAF... I LIKE THE PIGS
Performance in which the world of the deaf and hearing impaired are in communication, where it is not important how they say but what is said. The hearing impaired will approach diversity by seeing voices and listening to music also through the vibrations perceived in the body by holding a balloon in their hands. LIS, the Italian sign language, gives rise to choreographic development. Behind the signs a guide on Charlie Chaplin's meaning of life:
They will always criticize you, speak ill of you and it will be difficult for you to meet someone you can like as you are! So live, do what your heart tells you, life is like a theatre piece, which has no initial rehearsals: sing, dance, laugh and live intensely every day of your life before the opera ends without applause ...
ALMOST DEAF ... I LIKE THE PIGS won the Award of Criticism for the innovation of choreographic language in Cagliari in Cortoindanza in 2013. Finalist project for the GD'A Puglia 2011 Award, carried out with the support of Dansystem within the PO FESR Puglia 2007-2013 Axis IV Action 4.3.2, entrusted by the Puglia Region to the Apulian public theater.
